Please only apply if you are looking for work as a caregiver and would like your name referred out to IHSS Recipients in need of assistance.

🛑STOP: If you will be an IHSS Provider taking care of someone you know, such as a family member or friend, please exit and contact Provider Enrollment.

1. Are you seeking assistance from the Registry to find IHSS clients or additional work?
2. Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?
3. Do you have a valid California driver’s license or photo ID?
4. Are you available to work a set consistent weekly schedule?

NOTE: A Department of Justice criminal background check is required to join the Registry. 

5. Do you agree to complete a finger printing background check at your expense?
6. Do you have (2) previous or current professional, academic, or references where you have worked/volunteered a minimum of 6 consecutive months? (cannot be friend or family member)
7. The current rate of pay for IHSS Providers is $18.50 an hour, with time and a half overtime at 40+ hours a week (up to a maximum of 66 hours). Are you interested in submitting an application?
